Autocross Rules and Regulations

  • All drivers must hold a valid drivers license and at least 18 yrs old to participate
  • You need a Snell 2000 or later helmet. If you are buying a new helmet, get a Snell 2005 rated model.
  • Convertibles are allowed.
  • The registration fee is $35 for BMW CCA members and $40 for non BMW CCA members. BMW CCA membership is $45.
  • Only registered drivers are allowed to ride as passengers.
  • The autocross will run rain, shine or snow. Participants of previous events can attest to this. We have great fun in torrential downpours.
  • Registration and tech inspection is from 8:00am - 9:00am on the day of the event.
  • First car off at 10:15am.Everyone will get six runs and we hope to finish by 4pm.

All Series Championship award winners will be awarded with special trophies.

2008 NY Chapter BMW CCA, Autocross Championship Series

There are seven regular autocross events scheduled for 2008.

In order to qualify for the championship series, you must participate in at least 5 events in the same class. Points from different classes will not be counted towards your final points.
